David Budlin: Accredited Disability Representative

David Budlin has 25 years of experience with the Social Security Administration; having worked as a claims representative, technical assistant, and operations supervisor. While with Social Security, he received numerous awards for superior performance, was nominated for the Commissioner’s Citation and was heavily involved in employee training programs where he wrote and presented training materials. He served as a liaison between management and employees and has worked closely with other governmental and private, non-profit agencies. Prior to his work as a disability advocate and representative he worked directly for Administrative Law Judges of the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review. Mr. Budlin is a Supplemental Security Income expert and his experience and background place him in an exceptional position to protect the rights of claimants as well as providing them with the highest level of Social Security expertise.  Mr. Budlin is an accredited disability representative by the National Association of Disability Representatives (NADR), he is "Qualified, Tested and Working for You".

A. Scott Flexer: Accredited Disability Representative

A. Scott Flexer has over 30 years of experience representing claimants before the Social Security Administration. Mr. Flexer trained with Wardell K. White, founder of Ward White & Associates and has personally represented in excess of 8,000 claimants before Administrative Law Judges. He has trained and educated attorneys in the area of Social Security Administrative Law. Mr. Flexer has strong community ties offering his expertise as a Social Security Advocate to the Gulf Coast MS Society; National Arthritis Foundation/Fibromyalgia and Crohn’s and Colitis support groups. He has been awarded the Catch the Spirit Award and has been honored as volunteer of the month by the Gulf Coast MS Society. As a testament to his knowledge, in a recent demonstration project test to allow direct fee withholding, administered by the Social Security Administration, Mr. Flexer scored a 98, which to this date is the highest score achieved on this test.  Mr. Flexer is an accredited disability representative by the National Association of Disability Representatives (NADR), he is "Qualified, Tested and Working for You".

Raquel Asunción: Accredited Disability Representative

Raquel Asunción is a former Disability Examiner for the State of Florida. Ms. Asuncion has reviewed and adjudicated thousands of disability claims while with the Disability Determination Service (DDS). Ms. Asuncion has been trained by the Florida DDS to identify and classify disabling impairments using an analysis of clinical and diagnostic testing methods. She is a skilled practitioner and is an expert at evaluating and applying the listing of impairments. These are the set of medical impairment guidelines used to determine your entitlement to Social Security Disability benefits. Melvin T. Baron is in charge of the Internet Technology (I.T.) team for “The Experts.” He is utilizing his 25 plus years of facility management experience for a local major defense contractor to assure that “The Experts” remain on the cutting edge of the Social Security Administration’s electronic filing system called e-Dib. Disability Experts of Florida utilizes e-Dib wherever possible as it is a faster, smarter solution to filing for disability benefits. Mr. Baron is responsible for maintaining the electronic security of our client’s personal information ; an important consideration given the high incidence of identity theft. Document retention is maintained on compact disc format, all systems are monitored and our facilities are secured 24/7. Customer service is enhanced by 24/7 call monitoring and call notification.
