Gerald Marvin Bober

Retired Administrative Law Judge

Mr. Bober is a retired United States Federal Administrative Law Judge. He is a consultant to Disability Experts of Florida. Judge Bober has experience of more than 30 years as a United States Federal Administrative Law Judge both as a presiding official and as a manager. Judge Bober has presided over many contentious and adversarial trials. The cases involved multiple disputed points of law involving occupational injuries and diseases, securities violations, and Social Security disability matters. Judge Bober has held positions with the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission since 1998, and has decided cases arising under the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Act.

Prior to his appointment as a Judge, Judge Bober's legal work embraced financial and legal issues. The latter involved discovery matters concerning the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, The Federal Rules of Evidence, and Statutory and regulatory controversies. Judge Bober is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimant's Representatives.
